Research
The Competition Law Research Centre carried out several projects recently and many research is ongoing. Research includes all aspects of competition law and competition policy. Priorities include the role of the state in economy, merger control, develpoment of Hungarian competition policy and the competition law and sport.
Currently within the Competition Law Research Centre the Hungarian Scientific Research Fund finances the research on 'The role and appreciation of competition in Hungary' (HSRF nr.: 78683). This research investigates in theory and empirically and how competition as an institution is accepted.
Financed by the Gazdasági Versenyhivatal, the Hungarian NCA we are conducting two research: 'Self-regulation of commercial practices directed to consumers' (more information here) and 'Theory and practice of fines in competition proceedings' (More information here).
